This snorkelling day trip will allow you to discover the reef without diving.

Your guide Bernard will show you the beauties of the largest lagoon of the world! This activity is accessible to anyone, beginners or advanced divers.

RDV at Port Moselle (close to the market) to board a funny catamaran which is very safe and comfortable to reach the snorkelling spots! There are several snorkelling spots and the choice depends of the program (see below), the number of persons and of course of the weather.

Everyone should be pleased:

Larégnère islet: one of the closest islands of Noumea and ideal to see the big ones (rays and leopard sharks are often seen on the area)

Dumbéa Pass: the advantage of a pass is that you meet there an incredible fauna in the same spot! Currents are quite strong but Bernard would bring you there only with good conditions! Probably one the best snorkelling spots of Noumea!

Signal islet: the fringing reef of the island is a marine reserve where you'll see various species of fishes and in quantity. The islet is also nice to have a lunch break.

Maître islet: also known as The Escapade Island Resort (name is the hotel which set there) and where is located on a 200 hectare marine reserve.

Amédée islet: most of all known for its Lighthouse, the island is surrounded by a marine reserve where you'lll see numbers of surgeonfish, spangled Emperor shoal. You might be lucky enough to see some dolfins from the boat before arriving to the island! (only available on daytrip, not half day)

Half day: Apnea for adult and snorkelling trip at the barrier reef

- Sunday:
Day trip: Signal islet

Monday are reserved for group demand

New tour program : guided tours and land walks on Signal and Amédée islets.

2 seasons

- from April to September 2012: Signal, Maître, Amédée islets

- from October 2012 to March 2013: idem + Larégnère islet and Dumbéa Pass

Departure: Every day from Port Moselle

Half day
-> Morning (every day except on Saturday and Sunday): RDV 8.15 am to leave at 8.30 am - back around 1pm
-> Morning (Saturday): RDV 7.30 am to leave at 7.45 am - back at 12 noon

Day trip
RDV 8.45 am to leave at 9 am - back around 4 pm

Material included: Snorkelling material + diving suit
