Day 1: NOUMEA / KONE (265 km / 3h)
9 a.m. : Pick up your car rental. Meet the car rental agent in the lobby of the hotel (Cat B for 2 adults, Cat C for 3 adults, Cat D for 4 adults / Unlimited kilometers and full insurance).
In the morning, depart to the North of the Main land. First stop will be a visit to the niaouli distillery at Boulouparis - The niaouli is a common tree in New Caledonia and its essence is used in perfumes and medicinal products.
If you arrive close to La Foa at lunch time, turn right towards the Oua Tom tribal village. There Marie Georgette can welcome you for a local meal (to be booked in advance)!
After lunch, take the time to look around the tribe and then La Foa village before going on to Kone.

Leave the hotel in the morning.
En route to Ouegoa, pass by Balade, where Captain James Cook first landed in New Caledonia in 1774 and then enjoy the magnificent view over the lagoon at the top of Amos Hill. We advise you to have your lunch in Ouegoa on the bank of the last river of New Caledonia. Pass the last « bac » to cross « La Ouaième » river. You can stop at Tao or Colnett waterfalls.
Arriving in Hienghène, you'll drive along the Lindéralique Rocks, impressive black limestone cliffs which are up to 60 meters high.
Overnight at KOULNOUE VILLAGE (bungalow)
Morning departure. Drive along the coast road with its rivers, valleys and views over the lagoon.
Arrival at Poindimié
Overnight at the TIETI TERA Beach Resort in a tropical garden bungalow
In the morning, enjoy the white sandy beach in front of the hotel or go for a walk in Amoa or Tchamba valley.

Before crossing the mountain by way of Fruit Bat Pass (col des Roussettes), stop at the Bâ waterfall (cascade de Bâ) at Houailou and its 15m diameter natural water hole.
On arrival at Bourail, visit the beach and the "Roche Percée", a spectacular cliff pierced by caves, together with the "Bonhomme" rock formation, an enormous hard quartz monolith carved by the waves. See the view over the Baie des Tortues (Turtle Bay), a pretty beach bordered by pine trees.
We suggest you continue to Poé Beach where you could have lunch at the camping (not included) and enjoy the beautiful, unspoilt white sand beach.
Arrival at Sarramea
Overnight at the EVASION Hotel in a bungalow
We suggest to go to the Feillet hole for a swim before your departure.
Return to Noumea and drop off your car rental before 6 p.m. at your hotel.
