DAY 1 : ARRIVAL IN NOUMEA
Seat in coach transfer from Tontouta International Airport to your hotel in Noumea;
Morning and Lunch at leisure – Enjoy a walk along Baie des Citrons and Anse Vata bay. Your hotel is located closed to the Anse Vata Bay. Cafés, bars, shops and restaurants are available here!

DAY 2 : NOUMEA

DAY 3 : NOUMEA / SARRAMEA (110 km / 1h45)

9h00: Pick up your car rental – Meet the car rental agent in the lobby of the hotel (Cat B for a or 2 persons - Cat C for 3 persons)) – Unlimited Kilometres and full insurance
In the morning, depart to the north of the Main land. First stop will be a visit to the Niaouli Distillery at Boulouparis - The Niaouli is a eucalyptus and its essence is used in perfumes and medicinal products.We advise you to have lunch at Oua Tom tribal village. There Marie Georgette can welcome you for a local meal (not included in the package & to be booked in advance)!
After lunch, take the time to look around the tribe and then La Foa village before continuing on to Sarramea.

DAY 4 : SARRAMEA

Day at leisure: You can enjoy a sportive walk to the « Dogny plateau » or an easiest one to the Feillet water hole. There is also a coffee plantation just in front of the hotel. And the receptionist will be pleased to book a horse treck with Sarraméa Randonnées!

DAY 5 : SARRAMEA / POINDIMIE (190 Km / 2h30)

Travel through Moindou village, once a coal-mining centre. Then, after Arab Hill (col des arabes), stop at the New Zealand Cemetery where the graves of soldiers who died during the Pacific battles in World War 2 are beautifully maintained.
Head towards Bourail, and en route visit Fort Teremba (entry fee not included). You'll learn a lot about the region when you visit this ancient military base, which was built by convicts at the end of the 19th Century.
As you enter the city, you'll see a lovely, old stone building which houses the Bourail Museum. We advise you to buy something to eat in the city to lunch on the Néra beach. You'll see the "Roche Percée", a spectacular cliff pierced by caves, together with the "Bonhomme" rock formation, an enormous hard quartz monolith carved by the waves. See the view over the Baie des Tortues (Turtle Bay), a pretty beach bordered by pine trees.
After crossing the mountain by way of Fruit Bat Pass (col des Roussettes), stop at the Bâ waterfall (cascade de Bâ) at Houailou and its 15m diameter natural water hole. Drive along the coast road with its rivers, valleys and views over the lagoon.

DAY 6 : POINDIMIE / HIENGHENE (73 Km / 1h)

In the morning, enjoy the white sandy beach in front of the hotel or go for a walk in Amoa or Tchamba valley.

In the afternoon, road to Hienghène.
Arriving in Hienghène from the south, you'll drive along the Lindéralique Rocks, impressive black limestone cliffs which are up to 60m high.
Arrival at Koulnoué Village at the end of the day. Think about booking your excursion for the next day.

DAY 7 : HIENGHENE

Optional Excursion: From your hotel, enjoy an easy, short bushwalk, accompanied by a guide who will explain the different species of flora that you encounter along the way. The track will take you to the Lindéralique lagoon, where you'll board a motorised pirogue for a close-up visit of the famous limestone rocks and their legends. Lunch not included. In the afternoon, why not visit Hienghène village? Jean-Marie Tjibaou was from here, and the Museum gives a good insight into the region. You could also go to the Belvédère, the best point to see both the spectacular scenery and the rock formations in Hienghène Bay. From this vantage point you can admire not only the "Broody Hen" and the "Sphinx" in the centre of the bay and the islets and contrasting colours of the lagoon, but also Mount Panié, New Caledonia's highest peak (1,628m). You can also take advantage of this day to drive up to Colnett. Pass the last « bac » to cross « La Ouaième » river. Then you can stop at Tao or Colnett waterfalls. The walk to Tao water hole is great !

DAY 8 : HIENGHENE / KONE (233 Km / 2h30)

Morning at leisure and we advise to leave the hotel after lunch.
Take the cross road « Koné – Tiwaka » to reach the west coast.
Arrival at the hotel Hibiscus in the afternoon.

DAY 9 : KONE / NOUMEA (265 km, 3 h) / LIFOU

An opportunity for you this day to see the "Heart of Voh", immortalised in the world-famous photograph by Yanns Arthur Bertrand.
We suggest lunch in Voh or Koné. Road to Nouméa
Return to Noumea and drop off your car rental at the Magenta domestic airport
Check in for Flight to Lifou (timings and departure day TBA according to new schedules).
After 45 minutes flight, you arrive in Lifou and transfer to Drehu Village hotel.

DAY 10 : LIFOU

To See / To do in Lifou:
Chateaubriand, Luengoni and Peng Beaches, visit the vanilla plantation at Mucaweng, revisit the history of the Catholic missionaries who landed at Easo and who built a chapel in 1898, Take a tour of Santal Bay, 50 kms wide, and used by whalers in 1860, admire the Doking Cliffs and enjoy swimming or diving in the small coves in the area .

DAY 11 : LIFOU / NOUMEA / ILE DES PINS

Transfer from your Hotel to the airport and check in at the Lifou airport at the beginning of the afternoon and flight to Noumea.
Take a connecting flight to the Isle of Pines, just 25 minutes from Noumea and truly the showpiece of the South Pacific Islands - (timings and departure day TBA according to new schedules).
On arrival, transfer to the Hotel Oure, located on Kanumera Bay, one of the island's most beautiful white sand beaches.

DAY 12 : ILE DES PINS

Day at leisure: Book a transfer to spectacular Oro Bay, discover its natural pool and swim in turquoise waters brimming with tropical fish.
From your hotel, you also have various options : walk to magnificent Kuto Bay, famous for its pure white, powder-soft sand ; climb the N’ga Peak, the highest point on the island (allow 1H walking / 262m altitude); appreciate the famous rock formations of Kanuméra Bay; or simply laze on the beach.

DAY 13 : ILE DES PINS / NOUMEA
