Day 1: NOUMEA

Seat in coach transfer from Tontouta airport to your hotel in Noumea (52 km).

Day 2: NOUMEA

Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
Go for two unforgettable dives and discover the amazing fauna in Noumea's blue waters (refer to rates below option "dives included").
The lagoon is 40 meters deep and hold 1 000 fishes species and 6 500 invertebrate species.

Day 3: NOUMEA / KOUMAC (374 km)

Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
On the way you will stop to see the "Roche Percée", a spectacular cliff pierced by caves, together with the "Bonhomme" rock formation, an enormous hard quartz monolith carved by the waves. 

Take the road to Koumac* (2h30).
Overnight at Monitel Koumac Hotel in a chalet (2 persons) or in a superior room (3 persons).

Day 4: KOUMAC 

Continental breakfast at your hotel. 
In the morning, go for two dives in the waters of Koumac (option "dives included").
Take advantage of the afternoon to take a rest or visit the village.  
Overnight at Monitel Koumac Hotel in a chalet (2 persons) or in a superior room (3 persons).

 
Day 5: KOUMAC

Continental breakfast at your hotel. 
In the morning, go for two dives in the waters of Koumac (option "dives included").

Day 6: KOUMAC / HIENGHENE (135 km)

Continental breakfast at your hotel. 
Take the road to Hienghène (135 km).
Why not visit Hienghene village in the afternoon? Jean-Marie Tjibaou was from this place and the Museum gives a good insight into the region. You could also go to the Belvedere, the best point to see both the spectacular scenery and the rock formations in Hienghene Bay. From this vantage point you can admire the "Broody Hen" , the "Sphinx" in the centre of the bay , the islets with contrasting colours of the lagoon and also the Mount Panie, New Caledonia's highest peak (1,628m).

Day 7: HIENGHENE

Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
In the morning, go for two dives in the waters of Hienghène (option "dives included"). Waiting for you here are wonderous sites with uniquely beautiful virgin corals ; areas of peaks and canyons, spread with thousands of corals and giant gorgons. Arches and drops shelter an unimaginably rich variety of species.
The Coral Reef with its numerous caves, offers an ideal refuge for thousands of multi-coloured tropical fish, turtles, giant coral trout, humpback parrot-fish, deep sea fish, lagoon and reef sharks. Pelagic deep sea fish also cruise silently around this area...
Take advantage of the afternoon to take a rest or visit the surrounding area.

Day 8 : HIENGHENE / POINDIMIE (73 km)

Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
In the morning, go for two other dives in the rich waters of Hienghène (option "dives included").
In the afternoon, take the road to Poindimié. Drive along the coast road with its rivers, valleys and views over the lagoon.
Once you have arrived in Poindimié, enjoy the white sandy beach in front of your hotel or go for a walk in Amoa or Tchamba valley.

Day 9 : POINDIMIE / SARRAMEA (208 km)

Buffet breakfast at your hotel.
Go for two dives in the waters of Poindimié (option "dives included"). You will have the chance to discover sites characterised on one hand by fissures, arches and canyons dotted with gorgons and alcyons, and on the other by a diversity of fauna (small and large fish) and other sea life.
The site is remarkable for the colours and scenery (lots of gorgonas). A paradise for photographers...
Take the road to Sarramea (208 km).
On the trip, stop at the beautiful Bâ waterfall (cascade de Bâ) at Houailou and its 15m diameter natural water hole.
Crossing the mountain by way of Fruit Bat Pass (col des Roussettes). 
Arrival in Sarramea.
Overnight at the Evasion hotel in bungalow.

Day 10: SARRAMEA / NOUMEA (121 km)

Continental breakfast at your hotel.
We suggest you to go to the Feillet hole (just behind your hotel) for a swim before taking the road to Noumea.
Drop off your rental car at your hotel (or at Magenta airport for the Isle of Pines or Lifou diving extensions).
